Vaselina Sobre Ruedas (Grease on Wheels)

I was invited by a friend (Who is an artist) to work on his project called "Incluye" which means "Include" in Spanish. It's an artistic project that will make 4 big art events and the purpose of each one is to show to the people that "Disabled" people are equal capable than us to do great things, such as participating in artistic shows and events.

The art events consist in the following:

The first one is a musical of "Grease" performed by people with motor disability and a group of deaf. It's name is "Vaselina sobre Ruedas" (Grease on wheels). The presentation starts in august of this year. We are expecting to get 6,000 people attending to the

The second one is an exhibition of models about representative places in the city and the state. This is directed to blind people and anyone with their eyes closed.

Then, we're having a Fashion show. The point about this event is that the models will be children and young people mentally challenged, with any kind of intellectual disability, as well we're including people with Down syndrome.

The 4th event will last for 6 months, we'll be launching every two weeks a video on youtube about "Success Stories". each one of a different person explaining how good has been his/her life even when they're handicap or with any kind of disability.

What we're looking to achieve making this, is to change the mind of the people of the city, next the state, our country, and some parts of the world about this persons who are not really disabled, they just haven't get the chances to work or put in action their skills and talents; and we're sure that we can impact their minds showing them beautiful and praiseworthy art expressions made by "disabled people".

Here in the country there are many procedures that slows a lot the authorization for an enterprise to give this kind of help and sponsorship, and it's very common that they deny the help just because of the latency in the procedure.
