I have created this ongoing fundraiser for those that wish to support my animal rescue work.

Currently there's Valentine... She has been in a pension in Istanbul for over a year and a half now.

I was part of the rescue team that pulled her and her 5 pups from a crumbling building in Istanbul.

All of her babies were homed between Turkey, Sweden and Canada and we are all very anxious to find a great home for Mom!

An opportunity to fly her out of Turkey to Toronto (where an amazing foster home is waiting) should arise soon.

Funds need to be raised to cover the costs of preparation and travel.

Costs are as follows (in USD):

• Dog Crate for Cargo $100
• Transport/Check-in to Istanbul Airport $50
• Government Paperwork $55
• Canada Customs Inspection Fees $30
• Flight fees $323

While living abroad in Italy, I began working with Tails of Istanbul in 2017. Since then our small team has had big successes rescuing vulnerable animals, as well as finding forever homes in Europe and North America.
Now that I'm based in Vancouver, I want to continue this work!
As a group, we'll need to collaborate not only to secure foster and forever homes, but also to find flight volunteers to transport animals.
