We adopted Vance a little over a year ago and he has brought us nothing but joy. He loves digging, chasing rabbits, birds, and his favorite blue ball. He is a hound lab mix with a howl that you can't help but smile at. Every time someone comes through the door, his tail starts wagging a mile a minute and he showers you with gifts. (The closest object he can fit in his mouth. Be it a shoe, magazine, bone, etc.)

Vance is such a loving, good boy. He was so excited to see us when we got home. As we let him outside, he quickly used the bathroom and darted back towards the house. With excitement, he skipped three steps on our deck breaking both bones in his left leg, leaving them in several pieces. 😥

There comes a point in life when you have to put your pride aside. As most of you know I am on a limited income due to my disabilities. Having had two surgeries in the past two months, I haven't been able to work at all.

There is nothing in this world I wouldn't do for my fur babies but right now I am at a total loss. Until I am able to pay the vet in full, they will not perform surgery on Vance. I will then have the additional daily cost for the vet to house him and keep him on an IV to dilute his pain.

We miss him and can't wait to see his smile again. If you could find it in your heart to please help my poor sweet Vanie, I will be forever in your debt thank you so much and advance. God bless you.
