£205.00raised of £200,000.00 goal goal
We have gained planning permission for an Education and Training Centre to be built on-site at Vale Wildlife Hospital. Not only will this provide the accommodation needed for students to carry out work placements with us (our placements are highly sought after by vet students, vet nurses and other people wanting to work in the wildlife rehabilitation and conservation field), but it will also give us the ideal facilities for us to continue and expand the popular courses that we are already running on a regular basis in our temporary lecture room e.g. 'Hedgehog First Aid & Care', 'Basic Wildlife Photography' and 'Wildlife Care & Rehabilitation'.We are also hoping to be able to offer the centre to other local groups for meetings or talks, and to arrange for speakers to come in and speak about various wildlife and conservationsubjects, which will also help to fund the running costs of the building. The build cost is estimated at around £350,000 including the equipping of the building and we have already been given a grant of £150,000 by the Lilian Andrews Charitable Trust. We are therefore appealing for the remaining funding to enable us to start this exciting project. See more on our website at www.valewildlife.org.uk Please help us to continue helping sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.

As promised, courtesy of FGW overpayment, with a little extra. I hope one day I can attend a course in your shiny new centre!

I will spread the word and get you some more donations. The first aid and rehabilitation course was amazing so I always highly recommend it.
