UV virus protection mask

Hello everybody,

We need your help to create a virus protection mask based on a powerful ultraviolet laser. It is well known that the UV light kills viruses, germs, fungus and mold very effective. This technology can be applied in face protection masks, because at this time has compact lasers with high power output. The incoming air will enter in a chamber irradiated with powerful UV laser, that will sterilize the air by destroying the DNA of the pathogens and after that the air will be safe for breathing.

The power supply for the laser will be made of rechargeable Li-ion batteries. All these components can be placed in a compact face mask. That face mask will have more advantages that the usual face masks made of cloth filter. Advantages:

1. Every pathogenic microorganism (virus or germ) will be destroyed.

2. Unlimited period of use depending of the batteries. If you have spare battery and charger.

3. You can breathe and speak very easy with that mask.

4. You will be able to drink with a straw.

At this point we have the general idea and we have made precise calculations, that proves the concept. We don't have enough funds to create 3D model of the concept and a test model. We estimated that the total price for one UV protection mask will be about 100 $.
