Utility shut off and eviction notices

My fiancé and I are stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. Pali has been working two jobs, I was doing in home support for an elderly client, but she's been hospitalized the last two months. I got a new job once I heard she would be there for a while, but the start date has been pushed back twice, so I haven't had income those last two months. We've sold figures, instruments, games, consoles, books...everything we can. We've looked into assistance programs the last week, I attempted to apply for something like 20 different ones, but none of them have funding available anymore. The problem is, the fees they are tacking onto rent is making it impossible for us to catch up. We recently spoke with someone at the state office, and they are going to help us take them to court for abuse and being what is considered a "slum lord" because they are refusing to fix so much, not allowing me to fix anything myself, yet they are still raising our rent again. Unfortunately, that won't help us cover rent this month, and they've been threatening to take us to court AND charge us THEIR court fees. Even though we've given them 2000$ for one month's rent and an abusively excessive amount of fees (our rent is 800$) and have a payment plan, but they aren't accepting anything, regardless of what the plan says, because we can't give them the full amount at once, which means they still get to charge us more fees. We are 600$ behind on our electricity bills because we've spent everything we had for other bills, like food and gas, on trying to cover these excessive fees. We can't afford to move right now, and we can't afford to cover rent, either. I will admit that I'm uncomfortable asking for help, because I don't ever want to be a burden to anyone else, and I know this isn't anyone else's problem, and we should be taking care of this ourselves. But right now...we just can't. Anything will help...I'm really sorry to ask...but we can't do this alone right now.
