I am the first daughter to get married and for my family this is quite a big deal. Weddings in Malta are very expensive and even though I had an option to have a small wedding, I decided to go for the fairytale wedding - on a budget. I am very close with my family and I wanted them all to be present on this very special day. My fiancee & I are working very hard to save as much as we can to have a simple but beautiful wedding since both our parents can't help us with money & to be honest I dont expect them to. My mum never had enough money to arrange our home & she decided to take a loan to try and arrange it as nice as she can before my wedding since people would be visiting us before the wedding. I know that this is a huge sacrifice for her because I have another 2 younger sisters which she still needs to provide for them & so I decided that with the low salary I have- I will share abit with her so that she can arrange our home as she wishes. I always dreamt to go to America for my honey where I can enjoy the city life but also some nice beaches & resorts. I have been looking in prices and the holiday is going to cost us a fortune and in fact we are thinking of cancelling it completely.

I understand that there are millions of other people who are in a worse situation than I am but I decided to turn to gogetfunding..I am not expecting millions but at least if I manage to raise money for just the flight, it would be of great help to book the honeymoon of our dreams.
