In these hard times of the deadly corona pandemic, several families in Africa are living in extreme poverty conditions. These are overcrowded areas without access to clean running water and the residents cannot afford to protect their children and themselves from COVID-19. A look in the townships (such as Maglas, Kandodo) found in the small mining town of Zvishavane in Zimbabwe most of the families are child headed. Despite barely surviving in these poverty stricken communities that are more likely to quicken the spread of the virus sooner than later, these poor families are lacking essential basic commodities such as food and protective wear to protect themselves (clinical masks, gloves, hand sanitizers). The majority of the bread winners in these families are street vendors who have already faced a devastating loss during the ongoing national lock-down. Let us please open our hearts to help these less privileged families in Zvishavane, Zimbabwe. Even the smallest donation can save someones life. Make a difference!!
