Urgent Operation Needed For Mother Of 7 Puppies – Road Accident

This is a fundraising page for the mother of 7 puppies who we rescued from under Thong Krut pier today.

Yesterday we were told about a pregnant female who had been hit by a car a couple of days ago by one of the restaurant owners. The owner contacted us this morning to report that she had been spotted hiding under the pier. When we arrived we saw that she had given birth, and with the help of kind people, in particular Mike Duval of One World Sanctuary, we managed to dig under the pier and pull out 7 puppies. They are newborns and have not opened their eyes yet.

The mum remained scared and hid under the pier for some time more before we managed to catch her. It was evident that her injury was very severe, her back leg was literally hanging off with the bone exposed, and it looked infected. We managed to get her in the car and drive to Young Nam hospital. The vet said she would need to amputate the leg as it could not be saved. We are now waiting anxiously to hear back from her. The puppies are safe with Mike Duval at his Sanctuary tonight.
