Buna, eu sunt Ana Maria Albulescu (Stoenica), am 32 de ani și locuiesc in Bucuresti iar aici este povestea mea.

În anul 2017, în timp ce eram insarcinata observ o galmă pe coapsa stânga, după o discuție cu ginecologul și o alta cu medicul de familie imi continuă viața liniștită crezând ca am un lipom sau un hematom pe picior.

In septembrie 2017 nasc un băiețel minunat si mult asteptat, credeam ca nimic nu ma poate face mai fericita dar la scurt timp aflu ca voi avea și o fetita și bucuria noastră sa amplificat, acum sunt un om implinit, nu-mi mai trebuia nimic.

În ianuarie 2020 merg din nou la medicul de familie și ii spun ca galma de picior se mărește și aș vrea să mă operez, îmi da trimiterea chirurgiei și în februarie reușesc sa ma operez.

Pe 28 februarie merg la chirurg pentru rezultatul biopsiei. Imi spune sa stau pe scaun, din momentul ala si pana acum pământul mi-a fugit de sub picioare, mi-am dat seama ca ceva nu este bine și am întrebat, cancer? Da, sarcom alveolar.

Pana în momentul ala eu eram o mamică fericită și sănătoasă cu multe vise.

Au urmat mai multe analize și scanare care au confirmat metastazele, de la o persoană aparentă foarte sănătoasă într-o lună de zile avem în mana niște harti care imi spuneau ca am sa mor.

Am un cancer foarte rar care nu raspunde la chimioterapie, singura mea salvare este tratamentul de imunoterapie cu atezolizumab.

Nu vreau sa ma tratez în steainatate, nu vreau sa plec de lângă copii așa ca pot cumpăra din Turcia unde este subvenționat de stat Turc și medicul meu oncolog sa mi-l administreze în România, astfel costurile sunt mai mici și eu rămân lângă Sarah dacă Luca.

Valoare unei doze de Atezolizumab în Turcia este de 1700 euro, aproximativ 30600 de euro costa tratament (18 doze pe o durata de 1 an).

Hi, I'm Ana, I'm 32 years old and I live in Bucharest. Here is my story…

In 2017, while I was pregnant, I noticed a bump on my left thigh and, after a discussion with the gynecologist and another with the family doctor, I continued my quiet life believing that I had a lipoma or a hematoma on my leg. In September 2017 I gave birth to a wonderful and long-awaited little boy. I thought that nothing could make me happier only to soon find out that I will have a little girl as well, and our joy has increased. At that point I was a fulfilled woman, needing nothing more.

In January 2020 I went to the family doctor again and told him that my leg bump is getting bigger and I would like to have surgery. He gave me the referral and in February I managed to have surgery. On February 28, I went to the surgeon for the biopsy result. He told me to have a sit, and in that moment, the earth has slipped from under my feet. I could tell something was wrong and I asked: cancer? Yes, alveolar sarcoma.

Until then, I was a happy and healthy mother with many dreams. Several tests and scans followed that and confirmed the metastases and so, from a seemingly very healthy person, in a month time I have in my hands some papers that tell me I was going to die.

I have a very rare cancer that does not respond to chemotherapy, my only salvation is the immunotherapy treatment with Atezolizumab. I don't want to be treated abroad, I don't want to leave my children so I have the option to buy from Turkey where it is subsidized by the Turkish state and my oncologist can administer it to me in Romania. The costs are lower and I get to stay with Sarah and Luca. The value of a dose of Atezolizumab in Turkey is 1.700 euros, so a 30.600 euros treatment (18 doses over a period of 1 year) would be the recommended way to start.

Please help me have a chance to be with my children, I want to see them grow up.
