URGENT NEED OF YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO FEED THE NEEDY AND SICK PEOPLE IN VIETNAM

KARMA WATERS - ACTIVELY FEEDING HUNGRY POOR PEOPLE IN DA NANG & HOI AN, VIETNAM – SUPPORTING SMALL-SCALE ORGANIC FARMERS

‘Karma Waters’ is a commercially viable not-for-profit cooperative. From our vegan restaurants, located in Da Nang and Hoi An, Vietnam, we run a ‘Subsidised Nutritional Lunch Program’ which feeds local people. Some are elderly, others are children and students, and all are temporarily living in poverty for a variety of reasons.

The daily cost of the ingredients for each of the tasty meals we serve is approx. US$ 1.00, but we only charge each person the equivalent of US$ 0.25. So, somehow we must raise at least US$ 0.75 for each meal that we serve. We buy the ingredients for the meals from local farmer friends who grow vegetables organically without pesticides, using natural compost.

Currently, we are feeding approx. 25 people each day at ‘Karma Waters’ in Da Nang’; these people have become our friends. Meals are given free to some people who simply cannot afford to pay anything. People tell us that they feel much better, much healthier & much happier now that they are having a good nutritious meal each day.

Our goal is to help more people. We will do this as soon as we become confident that we have enough money in reserve. We must be consistent; we do not ever want to be in the position of having to reduce the number of people who rely on us for their sustenance.

At the moment we have kind supporters donating a little over US$ 5 each day. Whatever you can give, you will be making a big difference to the lives of some lovely people. US$ 7.50 feeds 10 people. US$ 15 feeds 20 people. US$ 30 feeds 40 people. US$ 300 feeds 400 people.

Perhaps you can even commit to monthly donations. We will regularly share news and photos of our ‘Subsidised Nutritional Lunch Program’ with you via our Facebook Page " Karma Waters Charitable Association" and our social media platforms. It would be lovely to have your support, every donation will be used by ‘Karma Waters’ to prepare and serve the meals. Our dream for this Year of the Rooster, 2017, is to be able to feed more than 60 people each day - ……and then more. Our team also delivers meals to homes and to hospitals whenever sufficient funds are available.
