URGENT PLEA FOR HELP:

The pandemic and the almost 5 months of lockdown is hard for all of us. And for some, it is harder when a family member is battling health challenges. We’ve all read stories and seen posts of what families go through to take care of their loved ones during this crisis.

And that is why I ask for your help. My good friend and classmate from University of the Philippines Integrated School (UPIS Batch 1992) JOAN MALLARI, is finding ways to come up with funds to ease the mounting hospital bills for her father’s confinement and medical procedures. Her father, Mr. RENATO MALLARI, a retired University of the Philippines - Asian Institute of Tourism (UP-AIT) employee for 34 years, has been confined at the Manila Doctors Hospital (UN Avenue, Manila) since July 29, 2020. Final diagnosis is pending due to results of the biopsy done the other day but according to the doctors based on CT scans and other lab tests it is cancer. He also has diabetes and a weak heart.

We seek your kind hearts for prayers and for some monetary donations. Any amount is welcome and appreciated.

Thank you and let’s all come together to pray for Joan’s dad’s complete healing!
