Campaign Story
“Som” is a male stray cat. Som means orange in Thai. No one knows how long he has been wandering in this village called Intrarak 2, which is located on Nawamin Road in Bangkok, Thailand. Som walked by my house during the past 4 months. He did not fully trust people. I started to feed him as he seemed so hungry. Later, he became friendly. Then I took him to see a vet for check-up, vaccination and sterilization and I got several bad news that his left eye was blinded and he has had both Leukemia and FIV. However, he was just fine and ate well. One day he left my house and did not come back for 4 days. Everyone in the village helped me looking for him and we found him finally. He was very skinny and not able to walk. I took him to a hospital immediately and the vet advised us that he needed a blood transfusion urgently. I looked for cats who could help donate their bloods and luckily I found a good match. However, he may need several times of the blood transfusion according to the vet’s advice and the expenses are high. So, I would appreciate if you could help me help this poor Som. He had been a stray cat for the whole life and just met me during the last period of his life. I just try my best to make him enjoyed some good time and good life. Please donate now as he may not be able to wait so long. Thank you very much in advance. Saneekan
