Hi Everyone
Gentle Giants Rescue and Sanctuary is $15,000 plus in the red..we have had MANY special needs rescues this year and alot of boarding bills...we are sinking and if we cannot raise the needed funds I am sorry to say that our doors will be closing the end of Jan 2013..I know that money is tight for many people and I also know that there are many rescue groups that need help....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help if you can..forward far and wide..even a dollar would help....Spinal taps, CT SCans, MRI, allergy tests, orthopedic surgeries, no fosters so many were in boarding, blind dogs, senior dog anti seizure meds..food and supplies the list goes on and on......

Every time Disney puts out another damned dog movie, this year is Santa Paws 2, we in rescue cringe. The fact is, Gentle Giants is going to be slammed with Saints and Pyrs after fools for parents give in to whines of children for that "white fluffy dog who can talk". Or one "just like Beethoven". My contribution of $5 on behalf of each rescue in my house isn't much, but if everyone who could would miss a lunch, a coffee, a fancy sweet and throw those few dollars into the can, it could mean so very much to these hard working folks. When I share what I have ~ and yes we, too, have had tough times ~ I am always reminded of the poor woman who had on the day of giving aught but a penny to share. God blessed and heralded her generosity, for even though the gift was small, she gave all she had. Your kindness will pay forward, karma will find you and Grace follow you all your days. Kelly Kirsch
