UQ Students attending International Conference in USA

We are 13 students from the University of Queensland in Brisbane and are travelling to Boston, USA in February next year to attend and participate in the oldest and most prestigious Model UN conference, the Harvard National Model United Nations Conference (HNMUN). The conference is run annually by Harvard students, with over 3000 delegates attending from schools worldwide every year.

This will be the first ever University of Queensland delegation to HNMUN. On top of that, we will be one of only a few universities to represent Australia at the conference.

This experience is a great opportunity for us to travel, meet like-minded individuals and debate the important international issues that affect the world today. We all have a passion for international relations, human rights, development and social justice, and all share the dream of one day working within the nited Nations.

Fundraising will help us get there, as costs for flights and accomodation is quite expensive. We are all full-time university students so we would appreciate your support!
