Due to the Lockdown all over India due to Corona virus the union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman pushed for a promotion of e-learning in a post-covid-19 India and announced that there will be dedicated TV channels for each school class and granted permission to 100 top universities to offer online degrees and courses. But Kerala and other states have rural under developed areas which lack the technologies to host a online class.

WGN foundation is an organisation which strives to provide help for the backward students who are academically brilliant to also attend online classes by providing them with the technologies they lack. WGN foundation new venture is to Provide Television sets/Tablets and internet connection as a educational social enterprise, with a vision to enable quality in education for the children of rural India.

It is realized by connecting passionate individuals as volunteer teachers from across the world with the Govt elementary schools in remote and rural villages of India, leveraging technology.It is focused on the children in the age group of 10-14 (5th to 8th grade), deliveringlive interactive classes in the local medium, through a powerful partner eco system.
