University tuition

To study at an american university has been my goal for eight years. The major reason I look abroad
for studies is the possibility to get a great education combined with athletics. My life has for a long
time centered around school and ice hockey, and I'm not yet willing to let either of them go to
pursue the other, not when I know it’s possible to pursue them both longer. It is however not
possible in Sweden to the extent I want.

When I visited the university I finally chose, I knew that this were the place I wanted to spend my life for the next 4 years. It felt so good. Unfortunately they did not offer ice hockey scholarships for girls (even though the coach said he would give me one if they had the opportunity). I did receive a grant from the school, but I need to raise more money. Since we pay our university tuition through taxes in Sweden I have no saved money for me to study in the USA. Right now I take large loans with help from my parents and grand parents to pay the tuition for the only first year. I need help raising money so I can attend school for all 4 years to get my bachelors, otherwise all the money for the first year will have gone to waste.
