University Fees

I am really passionate about Film & Television industry. I am currently majoring in Film & Television, English, and Law at the University of Cape Town. I plan to start my own company one day and help others who want to get into the industry. I really enjoy studying at UCT. UCT really is the best!

When I am not studying I am helping matriculants with their studies. I am very tenacious. When I fix my mind on getting something done, I see to it that it's done right and I put all the effort and dedication to see it through. In high school, I used to be a peer teacher and I would go to school even on Saturdays and Sundays to help my classmates pass. I would consult with my teachers every day during lunchtime to get more information on my subjects so that I could share the information with my peers. My hard work and dedication paid off in the end as not a single pupil in my class failed.

I have always been fascinated with writing stories, lyrics, poems, and scripts. Education is pretty expensive, and the funds will help me accomplish my goal of becoming a scriptwriter and movie producer.

My ultimate goal is to give back to the global community. I was not born with a silver spoon and I am where I am right now because of the help from others. I plan to donate to others once I have graduated and secured a job or established my own company.

I have always looked up to big movies production companies such as The Bomb Shelter Productions, Global Creative, Ferguson Films, Lionsgate, Disney, 21st Century Fox, Marvel and others. Also, movie stars like Shona Ferguson, Sello Make kaNcube, Charlize Theron, Connie Ferguson, Nomzamo Mbatha, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Paul Walker, Kevin Hart, Ice Cube and others have always been my influence.

I am unable to pay my fees because the National Student Financial Aid Scheme did not live up to their promises. They told me that I can register and I will be funded. Once I had registered they said they could no longer be able to fund me as I have exceeded the N+ rule.
