What would Singapore’s top comedians have to say about what it means to be Singaporean?
Unite In Laughter is a film that explores the uncomfortable side of the Singaporean identity, through the lens of three leading comedians who take a leap of faith in their own identities.
Through exclusive interviews, live performance, behind-the-scenes footage and rare archive, we go beyond skin deep with Kumar, Sharul Channa and Sam See, to discuss how comedy connects with Singaporeans, and what that reveals about our national identity. Be prepared to laugh, cry, then laugh again.
This is the very first time Kumar, Sharul and Sam share their lives on and off stage allowing us to see Singaporean identity through their own experiences and comedy.
The film is almost completed and is in the midst of post-production. This campaign seeks to cover the cost incurred in making this film and it will support the various film festival submission costs in the coming year.
