Campaign Story
The purpose is to create a Legal Fund to pay for the services of a lawyer who will represent the six unit owners and more than 500 supporters in our complaint lodged at Human Settlements Adjudication Commission (HSAC) case number HSAC-NCR-REM-200911-00090 against SM Development Corporation.
This pertains to the unwarranted, unlawful and unsound business practice of the developer SMDC in inserting two (2) illegal provisions in the Amended Deed of Restriction of automatic seats in the Board of Trustees, and sole authority in the appointment of Property Manager; and, Respondent SMDC, despite of the project’s incomplete state of the Fire Alarm Detection System (FDAS), allowed the buyers of its condominium to move-in at Fern Grass Residences Tower 4 and 5 notwithstanding the risk in safety of the unit owners. The complaint also calls for the turnover of long overdue amenities to GRCC, and construction of bridge link.

Update posted by Jessan Catre at 05:33 amThe 2nd and final mediation hearing happened this morning and both parties have not reached a settlement. The Adjudicator instructed both parties to submit their position papers so she can make her ruling.As for the fundraising, total donations received reached P60,366.30, and total expenditures reached 25,943.00 as of July 21,
