Underwater life jacket activation device

I hold a patent in a design that activates a life jacket at a certain depth under water. The design was for a client, it worked very well and was field tested. Unfortunate my client did not want to commercialize the product. I can resigned a new similar system to avoid breaching the patent.

Why? Because this system is going to save thousand of lives every year from drowning during diving.

Essentially this device is set at a certain depth, lets say 3 meters. A diver wears this device coupled to a regular life jacket and goes diving.

In a situation where the diver looses consciousness and sinks, My device will activate the life jacket at 3 meters and brings the diver to the surface.

Sure that there might be ear drum injury as the diver is brought to the surface at speed but better injured then dead loss at sea.

I plan to have 3 preset depth, 3 (green),6(yellow) 9(red) meters pcs.

At this moment, no insurance covers accidents through diving, they might provide if this device is worn.

It will also help recreational diving tourism.

This plastic tooling cost is about 300K, Another 200k is for the electronics, certifications and qualifications by US coast guard etc.

I saw some statistic that on average 7000 ppl die every year from diving related accidents.
