"The Undercover Cat Man Feeding Hundreds of Strays"-This animal lover works under the cover of darkness to feed 250 stray cats every night. Glen Venezio moved to Puerto Rico eleven years ago and was instantly struck by the thousands of strays in the streets, so he has spent the last ten years caring for them, not missing one night. . Using donations from fellow animal lovers and his own money, he gets up at 10pm every night and spends two to three hours preparing food and water for his route around Santurce, Puerto Rico. He finishes at 7am every day. Every night he has to deal with harassment and threats as the locals do not want him feeding the cats.To find out more about Glen’s work please watch his video:

A Category 5 Hurricane (Hurricane Irma), will hit or nearly hit Puerto Rico and surrounding islands tomorrow morning......... Winds of Irma right now are 175 MPH as it travels across the Caribbean. I am so worried about the hundreds of thousands of animals in the streets of Puerto Rico, including the large colonies of cats that I care for...........Please keep me/ US in your thoughts and prayers.............I will do my route tonight as usual, even though there will probably be a thunderstorm and heavy rain just before the hurricane comes in the morning.............I have not missed a single night in more than 10 years, after tonight we will hope for the best and see what happens....................... Please help if you are able to do so, I will need funds for the cat food, etc., just after the hurricane, I have enough to get me through the next few days, but after that, any help at least takes that burden off of my shoulders right now, thank you.
