UNCONDITIONAL LOVE refers to the interaction we are lucky to receive from each and every one of our little furry friends that we take in to our home (should say "theirs") or have contact with from time to time. It seems that everyday, we are greeted by a furry friend that either finds their way to our doorstep or manage to come into contact with in some way, shape or form. We always joke that one of them has either posted a bulliten somewhere or actually holds up a little sign while they are sitting in one of the windows to attract more of their friends. Unfortunately, it is sad to say this but it is called the TRUTH... there are people that will just stop their car and put these little babies out on the side of the road, near the woods or we even have our little "Rudy" that was actually placed into a box with a washcloth, little bit of food before being placed in the road!! Thankfully, our neighbor said something told her to stop her car for that box because if she didn't tragedy would have happened to poor little Rudy. His eyes were glued shut, he had worms and he wasn't healthy at all. However, now Rudy has his "six brothers & sisters" that keep him entertained daily! His bright yellow eyes are wide open, the worms are gone and he is very healthy. In fact, when he sits down he looks like a penguin. How cute is that? Then he has his brother "Squirt" that isn't a "Squirt" in size... he is actually the size of a small dog. He honestly thinks he is a dog due to the way he greets people that he meets. He knows how to fetch, sit and shake too. Squirt was only a week old when he came to our home. Sadly, his "mommy" was put into a Pit Bull's cage so the dog would have the "taste of blood". Squirt was so tiny and had to be fed with a bottle... we didn't know if he was going to make it but we are happy to report that not only did he make it... he is the most lovable baby you could ever meet. He is so smart and has taken Rudy "under his wing" (the saying when teaches others). Poor little Squirt had his tail broken in several places so he is considered disabled but he doesn't know that nor does he let that stop him from anything. There are 5 other furry babies in our home that we love and care for each and everyday... of course they do the same for us. All 7 have been fixed, have their shots and are cared for by us. It isn't easy for us being on a very limited income and could please use help. We help those little furry friends I mentioned in the start of this... we find them homes and get them the care they need & deserve. Like I just said.. we need help to continue doing this because we are suffering financially after suffering a loss and would truly appreciate any help we are blessed to receive. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and we look forward to sharing more and more as the time comes.
