I love The Beatles, In December '63, when I was 6 years old, I remember walking with my mom into a drugstore and hearing, from the tinny speakers in the ceiling, 'I Saw Her Standing There' for the very first time and stopping dead in my tracks. I have a clear, sharp memory of that single event and it touched and affected me like nothing has since. Anyone and everyone who knows the Beatles know that they've been in the public eye in one form or another from that day to this. I was also lucky enough to have personally met John Lennon in 1974 when i was in High School in Palm Beach. Yes, they broke up in 1970, and 2 have passed, but the music and story continue well into 2016. I've long wanted to do something to show this love and how great their music is, and I feel I've accomplished this. I've had an idea for a layout for quite a long time and although I originally saw this as a book, I started working on it in earnest 7 years ago with the goal of a website and I'll look to get it published after it's launched. I currently have 41,852 songs, organized into 4610 events. The main point of my project is an eye candy chronological history that covers 58 years. Basically there are hundreds of thousands of places of info to explore, drawn from hundreds of sources and presented in a simple and intuitive fashion. Once someone does discover the site, they will most assuredly bookmark it, come back 1000 times and see something different each time, Not to mention, it's educational value for future generations of Beatles Fans.
