I’m taking on life and learning and all that jazz in Buenos Aires! I’ve been here for a whole month already. It feels like I JUST got here. I’ve been enthusiastically conversing in basic Spanish with anyone who will engage me! Although I get pangs in my heart for my people, deep nature, and California food, I am SO gla I chose to make this leap. I feel like a rad little kid in a new place, feeling lost all the time in a kind of giddy way.

I spend a lot of my time these days exploring solo. It’s my birthday on Thursday, and I would love nothing more than to be able to rock and role through this ginourmous city on my very own bicycle.

I’m a little tighter on dinero than I was planning to be because of having to switch host mamas and changing my meal plan a few days ago, but I am relieved because my new situation feels much healthier, emotionally and physically!

So if you can, celebrate my big day by putting on a song that reminds you of me, dance around like crazy, and help me get una bici buenísima! However much your donation, I SO appreciate it.

With the funds, I hope to get a good used bicycle, a bike lock, a basket, and a helmet. It will be the best birthday present ever. I will think of you as I’m movin’ and groovin’, and I’ll send you a picture of my new baby in my new city when I take her on adventures!
