The AS&G Foundation, a work in progress, has the following mission: To eliminate the despair of those without means in an enduring and sustainable manner.
Meet Anita the "huerfanita". Anita (Ana Maria) is an adult orphan. She worked as a child and has no family. In 2016 she found a home at the Asilo San Sebastian, care and company, including the birds that bring that sunshine smile to her face.
We are always quick to help children in need, but we should not forget the elderly as well. When people get old they can feel helpless and dependent, like a small child. We may be fortunate enough to have family that can care for us. Some are not so lucky. They need our help too, to live what's left of their lives in dignity. We all get old one day, rich or poor. No one should feel alone when their time comes. No one should feel forgotten.
For this reason AS&G is supporting the Asilo San Sebastian of Queretaro. This refuge provides relief to our elderly in need of care and company. They regularly need food, medicines, personal hygiene products, nursing staff, medical assistance and to renovate their very worn out facilities.
Our immediate goal is to build the Asilo a new laundry room. As hard as it is to believe, the one they have now has a grotty, crumbling, asbestos roof and a couple of dilapidated machines.
Please help us to help them. Give generously to a cause that is close to home for all of us, and let's be a part of keeping that beautiful smile on Anita's face!

We did it! Construction Complete!
