UN Internship Fund

My life was easy. I was a happy student of Archaeology and Anthropology in California... then one day, everything changed! I discovered a latent disability that forced me to quit my studies and my work and go back to Spain. I spent two years with medical issues, surgeries and a massive depression. Now, I am trying to refocus my life and I want to do it helping others that, like me, have problems adapting but still don´t want to stop trying and doing. I applied for an internship at the UN Department of Public Information and Outreach... and I was offered a position for 4 months!. I want to make this experience the first step of my life´s work for those who have not been so lucky. I believe my experience and background would be of great  help to raise concern about people in my same situation.
