Umsizi Vervet Rescue Center is a non profit organisation.
We currently have over 200 rescued monkeys that live in our founder, Tracy Rowels' home.
We simply do not have the facilities to cope with the influx of injured animals we have gotten in the past year and are desperately looking to raise money to buy a new piece of land which we have found but do not have the money for.
Our dream is to purchase this land and use any excess money towards the cost of new cages, a new medical centre and for volunteer accommodation for people to come from around the world tp volunteer and enable them to work with these wonderful primates
We require funding of a minimum R500000 ($47000) to enable us to
purchase a new site for our organisation to rehabilitate and rescue
vervet monkeys.
