Umrah (Islamic pilgrim) with parents

Salam and greetings. My name is Hakim, I live with my parents in Malaysia which located in Southeast Asia. My parents are very loving and caring person. As how people should loves their parents, I do too.

To the Islamic beliefs, you are required to go at least once to Mecca and do an Umrah which of course if you are able to; in terms of health and money

Both my parents are actually healthy right now, however my mother has started to have issues with her legs, she can barely jump if I were to give a hint on her condition. While, my father on the other hand is older than my mom and has become less active even though he has no serious health issues.

I come to think, that I wouldn't be having enough time to keep my savings before it gets worse than that. I was thinking this is the best time for them to go for an Umrah rather than when both of them getting older and the health become worse.

My mom is 59 years old and my dad is 63. The amount of money stated was based on the average Umrah package's price in Malaysia for 3 person. The third person would be myself or one of my siblings who should be company my parents.

I planned and do some calculations and the results; I would only be able to bring them there in 3-5 years. However their age worries me. Bring them there is also on my bucket list. I'm not a very good child to them, however I believe giving them this 'gift' will change their perspective on me (even though I don't really think of that), at least it would make both of them happy.

It will be a great moment and experience for a believer who believes in the stories of Mecca with the prophets pbut when they witnessing things in front of their eyes.
