Typhoon Ulysses left thousands homeless as it rampaged across Cagayan Valley and Isabela 4 days ago. First came hurricane-force winds. Then relentless rain, followed by some of the worse flooding since the days of Noah.
As I write, thousands of families are homeless — with no shelter from the elements. No electricity, nothing to eat, and worst of all, nothing to drink.
The scale of this disaster is so vast it breaks my heart. But I won't let it crush my spirit. I refuse to surrender. I pray for divine protection for every person and family in distress. And in the name of Jesus, I rebuke all spirits of hopelessness, and despair.
I also pray, as you read this, that you will want to join me in fighting back against the darkness. I just sent USD 2,000 to the Philippines for flood relief. But I'm only one person.
