Hello, my name is Brieana! I am a 20 year old college student that will be taking a year off to explore the world and what it has to offer. I have been given an amazing opportunity to volunteer with a program called "plan my gap year" (click link for more details). In 2018, I will be traveling around Africa and Asia , starting in Ghana and ending in Bali. During this 9 month journey, I will be teaching English to children in India and monks in Nepal, Renovating homes in Sir lanka, partaking in an Non governmental organization (NGO) to tackle health and human rights issues in Vietnam, and Empowering women in India.
I am in need of funds in order to pursue this incredible opportunity. All donations are greatly appreciated; from the bottom of my heart I will forever cherish all of the support!
I know that you have lives, children, bills, PRIORITIES; but just for this once could you please take a second or two out of your day to donate a dollar, share a post, tell your co-workers, let the church know... I am honestly doing as much as I can... I'm researching grants, I'm working hard to save money, I'm speaking to everyone I come in contact with; Within the next week or so, I will be heading out to corporations and local businesses for sponsorship and promotion for my campaign.. Because my family is so large I strongly believe we can pull together to help me make a difference!
For those of you who do not know, I will be traveling to these countries volunteering , not sitting around on a luxurious vacation. Yeah I'll have tons of fun but there will be tons of work too. I love what I do and what I will be doing; so I pray you can see more than money or a begging hand! I also ask God to bring us closer during this journey!
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."
