Ukranian CI Teachers & Organizers Emergency Fund

When we reached 2741 Euros, we looked at our funds and needs by dancers, and realized this sum is more than enough to support teachers and organizers from Ukraine for a long time.

So, you may continue to donate, and any sum above 2741 Euros will go to support general humanitarian missions in Ukraine.

For years Ukrainian dancers and people have been struggling to be free to dance, to live their lives and to develop their country.

At the moment these efforts, as well as their lives, are under a viscous attack.

A number of organizers outside of Ukraine are applying the principles of Contact Improvisation in response to the changing conditions in the Ukraine. We are listening. offering support and in dialogue with those directly affected.

With the full backing of some of the Ukrainian dance community we have set up this campaign to raise an emergency fund for Ukrainian dance teachers and organizers, families, and whomever around them that requires help.

These funds will be needed soon so these people can have resources to endure the coming harsh days, weeks, or maybe even months that lie ahead.

Som technical points
1. Unlike some crowdfunding campaign, money is transferred immediately upon donation, whether the target sum has been achieved or not.
2. The funds go to a safe bank account outside of Ukraine. We only transfer funds when we know the recipient can receive them successfully.
3. Funds are managed and dispersed by one of the CI organizations in Ukraine
4. They are designated first and foremost for teachers and organisers who's income mainly comes from dance.
