Ukrainian refugees living in retreat centre Gomarduli Zen Garden in Georgia

It is a challenging time for Ukraine and the democratic world. We, the Gomarduli Zen Garden retreat centre team, recognise the need to help Ukrainian refugees. We believe that every action matters. Everyone can contribute to the victory. We've decided to provide the housing, but we need your support to fund the food, utility bills and transfer expenses.

Our retreat centre is located in Gomarduli Village, Adjara, Georgia, and it can host 40 people.

The aim is to support those Ukrainians who had to leave their homes and look for a safe, peaceful place.

Gomarduli Zen Garden is a yogic-meditative base among the hills near the village Gomarduli. The place is at 1200 m stunning mountain and forest views. Here you can find more information and some photos of the retreat centre: https://gomarduli.life

We will provide 5 two-storey cottages with fireplaces. Each cottage has got four rooms for 2-4 people. Each room has got private bathroom, balcony and large windows. There is internet connection as well.

We have teamed up with a vegan restaurant to provide healthy plant-based food on-premises.

In addition, our team will organise leisure activities for temporarily relocated people to have a chance to practice yoga and meditation to relieve their stress.

Additionally, we will be responsible for logistics and providing the transfers from Batumi to Gomarduli.

We urgently need your support to finance food, utility bills, heating and transfer expenses.

1. Unlike some crowdfunding campaigns, money is transferred immediately upon donation, whether the target sum has been achieved or not.
