Why Ukrainian Refugee Crisis?

CCIF has received calls for help from stranded Non Ukrainian nationals trapped in Ukraine in hostile conditions making it very difficult to travel to the Polish border. The desperate calls for help has caused us to engage other NGOs in the region who are in a position help as a way to to get as many people to safety as possible. Unfortunately, most of the affected people were utterly unprepared to flee Ukraine and did not have the funds to sustain themselves. They need accommodation, food, water, and medicine for the upcoming days.

Survival list:

A backpack, first aid kit, light sticks, Torches, knife, paracord (ropes), radios, a few pairs of socks (very important), at least 1 liter of water per person, food, sleeping bags, tent. Hand sanitizer, masks. If you do not get a means to donate yet, please share this link to your mates so that we can get help the affected people ASAP.

WHO IS CCIF - Malta

CCIF Malta is a registered NGO/Voluntary Organisation in Malta based in Paola registration number VO/0628. Our voluntary Organisation was registered in June 2012. We have helped people in times of disasters, i.e. Zimbabwe during Cyclone IDAI and for Vulnerable people locally in the peak of COVID19. We are involved in preventative human trafficking awareness, advocacy, training and education, help in the identification, rescue and restoration of victims of trafficking. All the activities entail us working actively in and within communities to ensure that people are not vulnerable and open to exploitation. Our work is based on Christian values, ethos and principles and we reach out to help all people irrespective of their colour, ethnicity, religious values, gender, sexuality just to name a few.

Transparency and Administration of funds raised

We are a registered NGO in Malta that is fully compliant with local laws and have proper and formal Accounting in place. All the money raised and resources acquired through this campaign, donations will be prudently administered by the CCIF Malta and also audited by an external Auditor. All appropriate internal strategies, external disbursement of assistance, including keeping of proper accounts, are in place for the transparent accounting of every cent raised and also we will exercise due diligence in keeping with CCIF, Malta's ethics of financial conduct for funds raised for support of such sad and catastrophic occurrences!
