Campaign Story
Tara Skurtu and Alexandru Silviu are raising money for humanitarian supplies to support internally displaced people in Ukraine. The funds will be used to buy requested items: generators, heaters, medicine, sanitary items, clothing, bedding, and food.
Your donations in January will be used to buy much-needed heaters, generators, and power banks, which Alex and I will get to the Odessa region.
Thanks to your donations so far, on Nov 19th Alex and I were able to drive to Ukraine and deliver: a generator, 4 gas heaters, a powerbank, sleeping bags, baby formula, diapers, blankets, medicine, clothes, toys, & more. Thank you for making this possible!
Tara, Alexandru, Michelle Kelso, and Caterina Bacal Titus have raised money for 7 supply trips to the Ukraine border since the beginning of the war. They've worked with Alina Valcu and her NGO Maria Andreea Association to get requests from and make deliveries to nursing homes and schools housing refugees. With your help, Tara and Alexandru will make a seventh trip to deliver supplies to the Odessa region before winter arrives.

March trip - Easter

On our March 12 trip to Ukraine, we delivered, in addition to requested supplies, Easter candy for kids displaced from their homes, & we just received an update from the Anadol village school with photos of kids receiving their gifts. Thank you again for making these trips possible. More details

Shortly after our last trip to Ukraine, Anadol mayor Valentin Sali sent us these photos of some of the items we bought and delivered with your donations--thank you again!: generator hooked up to a building, heater in a room, heater in a new community heating room, and sleeping bags delivered
