UK Drag Racing Team

We are a small amateur Drag Racing Team, based in tthe Wales, UK. We run a 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the Sportsman ET class. We have had some success in the past, winning the National championship in 2011 and always qualified in the top four.

The car needs improvement for us to take the next step and compete in the PRO ET class and enter the European champion ship.

We need rear axle modifications, transmission improvement, new wheels and better tyres. Also some engine parts to make the most of our setup.

We have always done all work on the car ourselves but due to illness (chronic back problems) this work has to be done by specialists.

The 600 mile round trip to the race track is now a real burden, necessitating a mid-way hotel stop go recover (this trip can sometimes take three days depending on the intenseness of back pain)

Any funding would be greatly appreciated and put to good use as parts become affordable.
