Uganda Project – Kampala Orphanges

I'm Amber and I'm 16 years old. I am hoping to be part of the team in 2013 that goes out to Uganda to do vital building and maintenance work of the Orphanges our school supports. 

This project has been very successful due to the tireless fundraising and hard work of the students and staff at our school. 

Students are expected to fundraise the majority of the cost of the project trip themselves individually, as, although these project trips are an experience of a lifetime, they are NOT a holiday, and the team works very hard whilst out in Uganda, working on site to build, clean, advise, supply, and support, in difficult conditions. 

Everyone who returns from this project trip gains a huge sense of pride in their direct involvement with the project, along with a very hands on experience of living life in a third world country. 

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend 4 weeks directly assisting in changing the lives of others, I will be SO grateful for any donations recieved, and after our visit, will ensure I have information and pictures to raise awareness of the fantastic work our school does for this cause.
