1) WHERE & WHEN? Kampala, Uganda from September 6 through September 13, 2015

2) WHO? I, Van A. Yon, am one volunteer of a small select team of Atlanta, Georgia business leaders having various areas of expertise, that has been invited to conduct classes, seminars and counseling at a business conference to be held in Kampala, Uganda between September 6 through 13, 2015.

3) HOW? This invitation came about through my activities and membership at my local church, World Harvest Church - Roswell, GA. and by my own Pastor Mirek Hufton's relationship with Pastor Robert Kayanja of Miracle Centre Ministries in Kampala, Uganda. The planned business conference will coincide with the planned Kampala Miracle Crusade that will take place in Kololo Independence Grounds during the same week September 6 through 13, 2015.

4) WHY? Pastor Robert Kayanja has a vision to help the people of Uganda (& especially his own church members) to reach a higher level in providing for themselves using Christian Bible based principles in establishing & growing small businesses and excelling in corporations. The Atlanta volunteers and I are going because we believe in his vision and want to serve God with our gifts and talents. My purpose for this trip is to provide business training, not solely for mission work so I am not raising the funds through the non-profit status of my church. Since I do not want to be any financial burden to the local Uganda church or to my own local church and this trip has been created without a long lead time, I have not been able to prepare and plan far in advance to have the necessary funds to cover my expenses. Taking into account additionally the loss of work time here in my business plus the significant cost of this trip, I am reaching out to friends, acquaintances and caring individuals to help pay or off-set some of the direct expenses.

5) WHAT? US$3,000+ - Funds to cover direct expenses of airfare, lodging and other directly associated travel cost. A) airfare will exceed $1,300 and be up to possibly $2,000 depending on exact departure and return dates. B) The organizers are holding the business conference at the best hotel and facility that can handle to expected crowds. Due to logistics, and safety, I must stay at the designated hotel (I will disclose by private message) which its room cost will exceed $300/day. My minimum stay will be four nights for the three day conference, and up to seven depending on additional events that may be scheduled not specifically included in the conference. The total cost of this trip will certainly exceed the target amount. All amounts received above the goal will be applied to this trip. First priority to cover direct expenses. Second priority to be used toward helping the other volunteers with incurred expenses in Uganda for providing my transportation, safety, and other miscellaneous cost.

6) My role: I will be sharing my education, experience and insights relating to my field of expertise in real estate brokerage, development, building construction, land planning, government and regulatory environment, property owner's rights and real property registration, and small business operations,
