UCT Student Travel Fund – Emergency Evacuation

This crowd funding is geared towards helping university students that have been forced to evacuate residences due to risk management of the COVID-19 outbreak, but that have not been made alternative travel plans for. Most students are unable to afford unexpected travel expenses to go back home in such a short notice period (72 hours) that university management have given students. Leaving many students stranded and frustrated without any contingency plans. ANY and ALL donations will go towards subsidizing as many students as we can, to book them flights and buses going back home.
