Support the UCCP Sunday Church School Campaign for Children in Rural Areas in Davao del Sur, Philippines

Some local churches of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) from the southern part of the country, more specifically, the Southern Mindanao District Conference, will launch a project “Sunday Church School” for children in some rural areas. This will be initiated, coordinated and managed by a local church, the Digos UCCP with Address at 206 Rizal Avenue, Rizal Street, Digos City Philippines.

This Sunday Church School program will be for children aged 5-13, and will start in June 2019. The program to be opened will start with at least two (2) rural churches. Proceeds from funds raised will be used for Sunday School materials and a little honorarium for volunteer Sunday School teachers who, most probably would be mothers and/or relatives of participants. This will be a continuing program of the UCCP where we would be able to reinforce and instill moral values and ethical behavioral traits to our future adults, so they become more productive members of society.
