Hi. I am raising fund to help aid Filipinos who were affected so much by the Typhoon Ulysses. Since October, Philippines have already been hit by four typhoons, one of which are categorized as typhoon 5(super typhoon). This only happened on the first week of November and has already left a lot of damaged properties and lost lives. Then on the second week of November, another typhoon, named Ulysses, has landfall in the Philippines. This is a category 3 typhoon, but no one has expected for it to cause so much damage. The continuous hit of typhoons did not leave Philippines enough to time to heal, so when Ulysses hits, the damage was worse than the super typhoon before it. Ulysses has made so many Filipinos trapped on the roof of their homes as the water flood inside. Flood even almost reach the second floor for some houses. But a lot of families, with children, elders, ill members, or disabled were forced to climb to their roofs to escape the flood inside their home. Imagine being stuck in a roof for hours with your family waiting for someone to rescue as the rain pours hard and the wind whistling eerily under a pitch black sky. It pains me to imagine that happening to my family. I am fortunate enough to have my family safe with me. To still have a roof on my head and food on our table. But its disheartening to see many people and animals displaced, homeless, lose their lives, injured, with nothing more than the few stuff they were able to take with them in the midst of disaster as the water level rose. I want to help provide them aid, through this little action of raising fund that could feed families, give them clothes, or other things they need.
In the midst of this pandemic, where I know everyone are going through this hard time, I would like to still humbly knock on your hearts. We are still expecting four typhoons by December. Please, any amount would be greatly appreciated. Each amount, when added, can result to a bigger amount. And please spread the word.
Stay safe.
