Super Typhoon Haiyan (a.k.a Yolanda), struck the central islands of the Philippines on November 7, 2013, completely destroying the coastal city of Tacloban and nearby areas. It is estimated that about 10,000 people have lost their lives and alomost everyone of the 200000 residents have lost their homes, and are stranded with no food and very little water. Only a single hospital is currently functional, which has run out of medical supplies. The people have no shelter and clothings and are in a desperate situation for survival.

The wrath of Super typhoon Haiyan, has left a devastating path of destruction. The relief efforts are hindered with damages to the airport, roads and communications. The government of Philippines, along with international aid agencies are rushing to get the supplies to the survivors. The main priorities right now are food, safe drinking water, medicines and clothing.

This fundraiser is setup to help our friends and their families in Tacloban and other affected areas. The people of Philippines are strong, but they just need a little support and prayers.

You can help by making a donation or even sharing it with others through your networks! A small effort from us, combined together can make a big difference for them!
