Type Exhibition

Hi guys! First off, thank you so much for considering my project. It really means a lot as it is essentially my first ever exhibition where I would be displaying my own work. My journey as an aspiring designer comes with a lot of challenges and one of them is really being able to fund my craft.

I was nominated by my tutor at my university to participate in this typography exhibition along with a fellow classmate. The exhibition is essentially about being able to promote Hong Kong typography, but my tutor saw it as an opportunity to show the diverse culture in Hong Kong, hence why I was invited.

The name of my project is called "Lahing Kayumanggi" which translates in English as "Brown Skin" or "Chocolate skin". It's a personal project as it reflects not only my opinion but a phenomenon regarding identity as a Filipino.
