Two infants and a boy with heart problems need courtesy from the public to raise funds for immediate surgery.

They are six-month-old Muhammad Yusuf Ammar Roslan, one-month-old Yusof Fahim Norzuiman and nine-year-old Muhamad Aqlan Fadzil who have suffered from birth defects.

They all needed at least RM300,000 to cover the cost of treatment and surgery that needed to be done as soon as possible or they were at risk of losing their lives.

According to him, the parents of infants and toddlers are figuring out how to raise the money they need because they can't afford to go to see him for help.

The father of Muhammad Yusuf Ammar, Roslan Basron, 48, only works as a chicken seller for RM1,000 a month and his mother, Nor Aimi Abdul Rahman, 32, does not work.

The couple from Baling informed that Muhammad Yusuf Ammar underwent surgery at two months old and had brain hemorrhage that left his left hand unable to move and needed physiotherapy treatment.

The life of Muhammad Yusuf Ammar was only in the hospital when he had to undergo various treatment procedures at Penang Hospital (HPP) and Sungai Petani Hospital (HSP).

He is believed to continue to suffer from a heart attack and require surgery at a cost of RM100,000.

For the family of Yusof Fahim from Kulim, his father, Norzuiman Ismail, 33, works as a lorry driver earning RM4,000 a month while his mother, Siti Fatimah Abdul Rahman, 27, does not work.

Yusuf Fahim was the couple's first child after they were married last year

"At the age of 10, they were shocked after a germ infection and doctors told their baby they were relying only on breathing machines at Kulim Hospital.

The baby needed immediate surgery at a cost of RM120,000, but the family could only afford RM20,000 and donations from the public.

The same fate was faced by Muhamad Aqlan whose father, Mohd Fadzli Hassan, 36, worked at the factory with a monthly salary of RM1,100 while his mother, Noor Syahada Khalid, 34, was out of work and had to bear two more children aged 11 and 8.

Muhammad Aqlan had undergone surgery but subsequently did not receive follow-up treatment because of financial problems faced by his family besides they had no transportation to follow-up.

As a result, he was unable to grow up like other children because he was always tired of activities but in February this year he underwent surgery to expand his channel after suffering from a fever.

However, the child's health has deteriorated and he will need another surgery that will cost RM80,000.
