TWILIGHT SONATA — Feature Film

TWILIGHT SONATA is a live-action, feature-length movie about a modern Armenian family of three generations living together, however, losing their spiritual connection and realizing it too dangerously late. The good news is; it’s never late.

It's written and directed by Arshak Amirbekyan, the creator of award-winning films like THREE EVENINGS and MARIAM'S DAY OFF. The lead roles are confirmed to be performed by renowned and brilliant stars like Khoren Levonyan, Julietta Stepanyan, and Nanor Petrosyan.

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?

We started actual work on the project two years ago. A lot has been done since then; it was accepted in the GAIFF PRO (Golden apricot International Film Festival) project market, then it won some development support from NCCA (National Cinema Center of Armenia). It allowed us to finish the second draft, cast the main characters, and shoot our concept teaser. But this wasn't enough. Now we need to work on the third draft, and most importantly attend some project markets of the major film festivals to find co-production partners in Europe necessary to complement the expected production funding from local sources. Your support will be crucial in pursuing these goals. It will be spent on editorial and translation services, festival market accreditation and travel costs, additional location scouting and media creation, office space rentals, etc. With your support, it may become possible to start the film's actual production in the Autumn of 2023.
