Campaign Story
TURNING IMPOSSIBLE TO I’M POSSIBLE
Most of my life, I have been living on the verge of the impossible for someone like me or someone of my background. I often think to myself that my mother (who recently passed on😭) couldn’t afford the lifestyle that she gave me, to start off with she was just a grade R practitioner who barely made a minimum wage, I can assure you that more than half her salary went towards my education (and I sure didn’t go to your all expensive model C schools). Yes, my mom might not have been financially stable, but she was a praying woman and I am sure she prayed for me every single day, I can tell that because from the physical eyes I was loving a life of the impossible compared to the circumstances we were going through, I could totally see God’s favor upon me everyday, and because of that, in High School, I made a vow to bring at least one academic certificate a year home to my mother (which by grace I totally did, and sometimes even more than one). My mother always saw the best in me, she totally believed that I can achieve all my crazy big dreams, she was my reason why I strived for the impossible, and she sure had a way of making them seem possible.
“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them” -Walt Disney-
And this fundraiser is part of the courage of me pursuing my dreams, I recently applied to an institution which will enable me to study what I love, but I totally can’t afford it. It is often said that, “if you want to achieve your dreams, you must help enough people achieve their dreams and then in turn you will be helped to achieve your dreams”, this is my plea asking you to help me achieve my dreams, and I sure will pass the favor onto other people (isn’t that how the world is changed, by helping one person, who in turn helps another.)
