Tunajiweza girl empowerment project

Tunajiweza girl empowerment project was designed to cater for girls between the ages of 10 to 25 years old in providing the best sporting, non-sporting and lifestyle opportunities to girls in the slums of Langas, Eldoret, Kenya. We usually are given the opportunity to participate in the Football Kenya Federation League and in different tournaments. We are mobilizing funds to enable us to participate fully in the League and to also have access to sports equipments such as balls, training kits and boots. We not only empower these girls through sports but also through leadership. Most of the girls get sucked into the negative lifestyle of the community thus a high rate of school drop out is witnessed due to early pregnancies and marriages that is brought about by lack of proper mentorship. We try as much as possible to eradicate this mostly through weekly life skills and sexual reproductive health sessions.
