Tulong sa mga taga Nangka

Barangay Nangka was one of the badly hit areas in Marikina. Jewel grew up there, went to school there and most of her friends and families established their roots there. We are there almost every week, visiting Nanay (Jewel's mom) and good thing the flood didn't reached their home.

She has a friend who lost a job during the pandemic and then this happened. All their stuff, furnitures, appliances, entire house submerged in water. They were only able to save some clothes. One of her uncle lost everything and will have to start again. And a whole other sad stories from friends having lost everything.
