Tuition for my brother’s study abroad Computer Science Major

I need you to help me support my little brother go abroad to study Computer Science at the University of Toronto.

It is his dream to put Trinidad and Tobago on the map in the world of computer science. He literally, lives, breaths and eats computer science.

His key motivating factor is to create a voice for Trinidadian computer scientists on all open source code platforms, where Caribbeans would be able to become a part of the marketplace and the discourse in open source coding, in a type of free and open market way.

He especially likes developing apps for android phones, three of which he already placed on the google store online free of charge. These are namely a tic tac toe game, internals android software validator and a CPU app. There is currently no way for persons living in Trinidad and Tobago, who develop apps to benefit financially, since that option has not yet been presented to our region. However, my brother enjoys learning and creating new and exciting applications, for the experience that will push him one step closer to his dream.

At our local university, there is not much of a range for persons wanting to be the best in computer science. My brother was granted a partial scholarship to a University of his choice and I came up with the idea to seek out help on gogetfunding.com by asking you potential backers, to help furnish his dream of going to the University of Toronto, which is one of the top North American schools for Computer Science.

Over the past five years, our country has been devastated socially and economically, by a tyrannical and corrupt government who has now driven our country into a recession, which worsens our economic situation among plummeting oil prices worldwide - (oil being our countries #1 trade commodity). The earning power of the average man is limited by this new and stark reality, the spending power is also curtailed and the future is uncertain. But one thing that has held through for the last few decades is the growing demand for technology in every facet of life. This is why my brother needs your help. Help him reach his potential.
