Unemployment is a large problem in South Africa (Statistics South Africa - Quarterly Labour Force Survey, 2019). This is due to an increasingly large youth population as well as a lack of adequate projects created by government and the private sectors. Unemployment thereby means a resulting increase in poverty and crime. The Tshepo's Job Creation Drive has been initiated so as to help promising candidates with valuable skills and employment. If we can create a trained workforce, we can help the fight against poverty and crime. Hopefully this will also inspire others to do the same.

For the past 20 years I have been friends with a humble man named Albert, who works at our local Grocery store. He said with deep concern that is Grandson, Tshepo is living in Limpopo yet he cannot find work and he cannot afford tertiary education or training. Tshepo has since moved to Gauteng to find work however he has had no success following the formal channels. It is important that the funds are raised so that Tshepo can start a series of small businesses. The funding will provide the necessary educational and training courses for Tshepo and his team, while the funding will also ensure that the necessary equipment can be acquired to start the businesses. This not only will this drive strengthen Tshepo himself, it will strengthen those that Tshepo can hire and it will strengthen the local communities. We can fulfill Albert's wish that his grandson has employment while at the same time his wish can help many many more.

The funds will be used to give Tshepo and his team part-time courses at respectable institutions. Here they will learn Business Management, Finance, Marketing and Sales. Those that do not have Driver's licenses will be sent for lessons. A portion of the funds will be used for the first rounds of salaries to start the team. At the same time, the funds will be used to start a headquarters (warehouse) and three small businesses.

A- Cap, Keyring, Pen, Plate and T-Shirt Press for personalised printing. This will include a sublimation printer and laptop.

B- Marquee Tent for event hosting. Event examples can include Birthdays, Business Conferences, Charity Events, Cinema, Comedy Show, Council Meetings, Funerals, Magic Shows, Music Shows, Poetry Recitals, School Functions and Weddings. This will also need portable toilet facilities as well as waste removal. A truck/lorry will be needed to move the Marquee to new venues as well as to return it to the storage unit. A boerewors roll stand, tuck shop and drinks bar will be run by Tshepo and his team to provide all with refreshments. Here they can also sell items from Business A while at the same time this serves for advertising.

C- Biofuel From Waste Vegetable Oil Conversion. Currently the local population relies very much on diesel in generators, cars and trucks. All of which can run reliably on converted Biofuels. Tshepo and his team will use the lorry acquired in Business B to obtain waste vegetable oil from restaurants. They will then filter the oil, convert to Biofuel using the catalyst, purify and bottle.

All expenditure slips need to and will be filed/stored safely.

We thank you for the opportunity.
